About Our Instructors

Scott Landis is an Oklahoma City Firefighter who has studied Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts since the early 1990s. He opened his martial arts academy in 2005. Scott is a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Cesar Gracie. He has competed in a number of competitions in recent years but spends the majority of his time teaching his students both adults and children and training MMA fighters.

Assistant instructor Richard Davis has been training since 2002 in Muay Thai, boxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is currently a purple belt in BJJ. Richard spends most of his time teaching no-gi and striking and has helped bring our team to the highest levels of MMA.
